Welcome to ILRGuild. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to our Editorial Services, Magazine Placement, and other professional offerings. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any service.
1. Editorial Services
ILRGuild provides a variety of editorial services designed to enhance and refine your manuscript. Timelines may vary based on the complexity of the manuscript and the type of service requested. Below are estimated timelines for our editorial services:
- Manuscript Critique: 1-2 weeks
- Developmental Editing: 2-4 weeks
- Copy Editing: 1-3 weeks
- Proofreading: 1 week
Please note that these timelines are estimates. Actual completion times may differ based on manuscript length, the level of editing required, and additional client requests.
2. Cancellation Policy for Editorial Services
We understand that circumstances may require you to cancel or adjust your service. Our cancellation terms are as follows:
- Cancellation within 24 hours of booking: A $99 USD setup fee will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
- Cancellation after 24 hours but within 3 days of booking: You will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellation beyond 3 days of booking: The service is non-refundable.
3. Magazine Placement Services
ILRGuild offers Magazine Placement opportunities for authors whose work meets our editorial and quality standards. Available options include full-page features, half-page features, and featured book listings.
4. Cancellation Policy for Magazine Placement
Magazine placement services can be canceled under the following terms:
- Cancellation within 24 hours of booking: A $99 USD setup fee will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be refunded.
- Cancellation after 24 hours but within 3 days of booking: You will be refunded 2/3 of the paid amount.
- Cancellation a month before publication: You will be refunded 50% of the paid amount.
- Cancellation within one month of publication: The service is non-refundable.
5. Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 7 business days once a cancellation request has been approved. All refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
6. Service Completion Timeline
ILRGuild is committed to delivering services within the agreed-upon timeframe. However, timelines may be adjusted based on manuscript complexity, revisions, or additional client feedback. If we are unable to meet the initial deadline, you will be notified, and a revised timeline will be provided.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete information at the time of booking.
- Reviewing all drafts and giving feedback within a reasonable timeframe to prevent delays.
- Complying with our magazine placement guidelines to ensure qualification for features.
8. Disputes
