ILRGuild Report

The internet is an excellent tool for connecting customers and service providers on a convenient and adaptable platform. Unfortunately, whatever is advantageous also provides the same benefits to ill-intentioned individuals or corporations for their personal gain. However, authors are frequently the victims of these discouraging operations. The Guild always believes that writers are the most vital members of the literary society and thus, it is part of our effort to defend the writer’s and service provider’s mutual welfare. Regardless of how firmly we enforce our policies and rules to our members, our limits would culminate in an unpleasant experience for thousands of writers, especially for non-guild members.

As a result, we seek your support in achieving our advocacy goals. We need to act together in order to keep our literary community secure. This may be accomplished by reporting to us any fraudulent or unethical transactions carried out by either the writer or the service provider.

Our ILRGuild Report programme is intended to offer a channel for complaints and whistleblowers so that we may take appropriate action or provide support. This programme is accessible to both Guild members and non-members, though the level of support varies according to membership type, complainant and complainee status, and so on. For example, we can revoke the membership granted to the complainee in order to impose additional sanctions if found guilty; or we can conduct a legitimacy check on a non-member complained service provider by conducting an investigation to capture essential details that are useful for verification or legal actions, such as their company registration, ownership, country or place of operation, and so on.

If you do nothing and let them thrive, another writer will be victimized. However, by reporting them, you are benefiting yourself by taking action and keeping the entire literary community safe.

If you need to report something or have any concerns about the authenticity of an advertising, service provider, or website, feel free to reach out to us through the ILRGuild Report tool.
